CONFERENCE SPONSORS

Each year the SEA hosts a technical conference showcasing the talented scientist, technologist, engineers, mathematicians, researchers and entrepreneurs who have excelled in their areas of expertise. This conference consists of the DOE sponsored high school day which allows students from the Washington, DC and surrounding areas to visit a cutting edge research institution., interact with other college students who are actively performing research and hear presentations on the latest topics of ongoing research including Homeland Security, Nanotechnology, Chemical Warfare and Business Development. Each year the SEA Fellows and other SEA Alumni lead that Alumni Technical Conference which provide students with a chance to hear first hand the influence that SEA mentorship has had on the lives of other students who have gone on to be leaders in both the public and private sectors. Additionally, the conference includes a career fair featuring colleges, universities, corporations, organizations and government agencies interested in recruiting the brightest students.
